The Township of Lake of Bays is seeking input from the public regarding the Logging Chain property, which the municipality recently purchased. The township says it is exploring potential uses for the land and wants to gather feedback from residents and stakeholders as part of the planning process.
The Logging Chain property has a history of timber harvesting and is located in a largely forested area of the township. Township officials say they are considering a range of options, including possible recreational, educational, or conservation uses, but no final decisions have been made.
Residents are invited to provide their comments through the township’s website, by email, or at an upcoming public meeting that will specifically address the future of the property. The township says public input will help inform planning decisions.
